CH Elante Eight Second Ride

Bucky started his show career in February 2017, being entered one day at an all-breed show.  Although we knew he was "special", he shocked all of us, winning Best of Breed over a lovely entry, including Specials.

Originally, we had planned on a breeding using frozen semen from our foundation sire; Ch. Touchwoods Foolish Pleasure II (Oliver)  Unfortunately, although semen had been frozen ten years prior, when we went to use it, we were notified that it had been "destroyed" in an accident at the collection facility.  Through the generosity of Ron and Sharon Kercher, we were able to use semen they had frozen from a national specialty winning son of Oliver, and we couldn't have been happier with what we got (well okay, there could have been one girl in the litter)

Bucky finished his Championship in November, 2018, and promptly won the breed on the subsequent days.

His first weekend out being shown as a special, we were shocked.  He won the breed, then went on to win the Terrier Group, and a Reserve Best in Show!  He followed that up the next day with another Group 1 in a tough Terrier group.

We have been ecstatic with the reception this dog has received from judges and established breeders.  He is truly a dream come true.  His classic type, coupled with flawless movement and a wonderful attitude make him a joy to show.

We have every reason to believe that Bucky, like fine wine, will get better and better with age
